A practical, skills-first programme for operational managers and supervisors leading digital adoption on the ground. Over 6 weeks and 30 hours, you'll build a hands-on toolkit for delivering digital projects effectively, combining flexible online learning with two in-person workshops, dedicated coaching, and best-practice site visits. Designed to fit around your working week, not disrupt it.
Bring fresh digital talent into your business with a fully funded Made Smarter internship. Placements run up to 12 weeks full-time (40 hours/week) and can support areas including software development and digital strategy. Grants are paid retrospectively.
Accelerate adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies with a grant of up to £20,000 (50% match funded). Grants are available for eligible projects identified through your digital assessment that demonstrate clear additionality and alignment with Made Smarter objectives. Grants are paid retrospectively.
Eligibility
Made Smarter support is available to SME manufacturing or engineering companies with:
- 249 employees or less,
- A turnover of less than £36 million, or a balance sheet less than £18 million.
- Additionally, a significant portion of your operations must be based in England
