Digital Internships are open to 2nd, 3rd and 4th year Undergraduate, MSc and Postgraduate students.
As a digital intern in Yorkshire, you’ll gain experience working in a manufacturing SME to help strengthen their digital capabilities and support their journey toward smarter manufacturing practices.
This internship will provide you with practical experience in applying digital tools and techniques to support business growth.
For up to 12-weeks you will contribute to a focused project that drives value for the firms digital transformation.
A funded Made Smarter Digital Internship provides SME manufacturers in Yorkshire with:
- Access to top graduate talent.
- Support with digital transformation and innovation.
- Increased productivity through fresh ideas and digital tools.
- Regional talent retention – many interns go on to join the companies they support.
Placements run up to 12 weeks full-time (40 hours/week) and can support areas including software development, process improvement, automation, adoption of new technologies and digital strategy. Grants are paid retrospectively.
