Made Smarter East Midlands is delivered by the Lincolnshire County Council on behalf of the East Midlands Cluster.

Our Digital Transformation Specialists engage with each eligible business to understand how Made Smarter can support their digitalisation journey. Made Smarter East Midlands offers the following support to the region’s Manufacturing SMEs

• Digital Road Mapping – Creating a 3-5 year digitalisation journey for your business and an initial implementation plan detailing immediate next steps to get you on your digitalisation journey.
• Access to fully funded Industrial Digital Technology Advice (IDTA) intensive support
• Building leadership skills to equip leaders in “Leading Digital Transformation” for their business
• Grant funding to support CAPEX and revenue projects

Made Smarter East Midlands offers the following support to the region’s Mirco Manufacturing Businesses (those with 9 or less staff)

• Digital Road Mapping – A lighter touch road map is available to Micro businesses, which will set out a Digital Implementation Plan.
• Access to 10 hours of fully funded Industrial Digital Technology Advice (IDTA)
• Grant funding to support CAPEX and revenue projects.

Made Smarter East Midlands offers a leadership development programme focussed on equipping leaders to lead the digital transformation of their business. Programme details are as follows

• 3 Month programme
• 6 Bite-sized workshops
• Peer group cohorts of 12 Manufacturing leaders – All leading digital transformations
• Content covers:
  • Leadership challenges of digitalisation
  • Managing digital change
  • Digitalisation strategy
  • Sprint methodology for implementation

Please note: our Leading Digital Transformation Programme is only available to SME Manufacturers (those with 10 – 249 employees.)

Up to 50% match funding (Maximum of £20,000 per company) is available for equipment and/or specialist advice to implement projects.
