Global Business Innovation Programme offers advanced manufacturing businesses the opportunity to work with Singapore.

The Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP) that Innovate UK Edge is offering is providing advanced manufacturing businesses with the opportunity to work virtually with experts in Singapore.

The goal of this programme is for the UK and Singaporean businesses to collaborate on innovative, novel manufacturing technologies. But why Singapore? Put simply, Singapore is a gateway to Asia due to its high GDP per capita, healthcare, transport, infrastructure quality and technology adoption, plus an attractive tax system, a familiar legal framework, and the ease of doing business in English.

The GBIP is ideal for innovative businesses looking to upgrade their knowledge, skills and facilities whilst building valuable insights and establishing strong partnerships to ensure their business grows and scales in Singapore. Those accepted onto the programme will have the opportunity to collaborate, grow and take advantage of a range of innovative new opportunities whilst learning about advanced manufacturing in Singapore. Participants will get the chance to gain valuable market knowledge, meet with important individuals and gain important cultural insights to help SMEs develop their international market expertise. Furthermore, specialised support from Innovate UK EDGE will be offered to all successful applicants.

If you’re a developer of technologies for manufacturing, the Global Business Innovation Programme has two live opportunities right now that can enable you to explore deployment in overseas markets.
