Made Smarter Innovation has partnered with Immerse UK to release a series of use cases in the run-up to the Immerse Technology Conference on 28th - 29th September 2022 in Sheffield.

The South Yorkshire-based vehicle conversion company convert stock vehicles to the needs of their customers. For example, kitting out welfare vehicles or the interior of stock vans to have all the equipment, racking, lighting etc. that a company like National Rail might need for their fleet, in the right layout. Once the requirements for the conversion are understood the team build a physical prototype to show the customer, which can take weeks to create. If the customer isn’t happy with the design or wants to make adjustments the Doncaster team have to take on the time-consuming, and costly, job of updating the prototype. The vehicle conversion team identified the design and prototyping phase of its process as being a prime candidate for optimisation through immersive tools but didn’t have the skill set to optimise it for themselves.

Made Smarter Innovation, Immerse UK and AREA in collaboration with the HVMC, is holding an enterprise XR workshop/demonstration event on the 28th – 29th September 2022, taking place at the AMRC Factory 2050 in Sheffield, UK. We will be looking at Augmented Reality (AR) technologies and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies across a two-day event, their benefits and how they can be used within your organisation. You can register for this here.
