Digital Internship Opportunity: Vexica
Reference Number: MSDI 2.35
Start Date: 20/07/2026
Location: Elmet

About Us

Vexica is a UK lighting manufacturer based in Sherburn in Elmet, producing architectural and commercial lighting solutions for projects across the UK and overseas.

As part of its ongoing investment into digital manufacturing and new production technologies, Vexica is developing The Lumi Studio, a lighting and interiors brand focused on additive manufacturing, sustainable materials and digitally driven production methods.
The Lumi Studio combines creative design with practical manufacturing expertise to develop sculptural lighting and interior products using large-format additive manufacturing (LFAM) and FDM technologies.

Our work focuses on premium, design-led products created through digital workflows, low-waste manufacturing methods and sustainable materials. Using robotic additive manufacturing and digitally enabled production processes, we are exploring new approaches to how lighting and interiors can be designed, manufactured and brought to market.

Alongside product development, we are building digital systems across marketing, manufacturing and e-commerce, including scalable content creation workflows, additive manufacturing processes and the groundwork for future online product sales.
