Internship Overview

Tank Consult is offering a 12-week paid Digital Internship to support the business during a period of systems development and digital integration. The internship will focus on supporting CRM activity, environmental and carbon reporting, and the digitisation of administrative and compliance-related workflows.

 

This role has been designed to provide hands-on experience in digital operations, sustainability reporting, and systems improvement especially Sharepoint within a construction and engineering SME.


Duration: 13th April 2026 – 3rd July 2026
Location: On-site – Unit 4D, Fields End Business Park, Thurnscoe, Rotherham, S63 0JF
Commitment: 40 Hours per week

Rate of Pay – £12.21 per hour/ National Living Wage


This internship will provide practical experience in applying digital tools and techniques within the manufacturing sector.

Project Responsibilities

As an intern, you will support the smooth running of office operations through a mix of digital, environmental, and analytical tasks.

CRM & Digital Campaign Support

  • Maintain and update customer data within CRM systems

  • Reviewing and building screens & blocks within CRM.

  • Support workflow automation, system testing, and data accuracy checks

Environmental Management Support

  • Collect, review, and analyse environmental data for compliance reporting

  • Assist with audits, inspections, and supporting documentation

  • Support the ongoing implementation and maintenance of Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)

Carbon & Sustainability Focus

  • Assist with calculating and reporting organisational carbon footprints

  • Analyse carbon intensity and sustainability performance metrics

  • Research low-carbon technologies, best practice, and market trends

  • Support carbon pricing, reporting, and compliance-related activities

Sharepoint – Helping to create Document Control Management System.

  • Assist with creation of reports and structures in Sharepoint for managing documentation.
