Internship Overview

We are offering a 12-week Digital Internship to help us strengthen our digital capabilities and support our journey towards smarter manufacturing and distribution practices. You will contribute to a focused project that drives value for our digital transformation.

Duration: 13th July (Start date can be flexible)
Location: Onsite
Commitment: 37.5 hours per week 
Rate of Pay: £12.71

This internship will provide practical experience in applying digital tools and techniques within the manufacturing and distribution sector.

Project Responsibilities
As an intern, you will: (Business to add details of project)

  • Review and recommend improvements to the company website, including user experience, content, and SEO performance
  • Support SEO optimisation activities to help improve online visibility and search engine rankings
  • Analyse CRM and customer data to identify trends, sales opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Create reports and dashboards to support business and sales decision-making
  • Help improve the organisation and quality of customer and business data
  • Work independently to identify digital improvement opportunities across the business
  • Provide general IT and systems support where required, working alongside the company’s existing IT support contact
  • Support sales-led marketing activity, including digital communications, online content, and customer engagement initiatives
  • Research and recommend new digital tools, automation ideas, or efficiencies that could benefit the business
  • Liaise with different departments and take initiative in progressing projects with minimal supervision
  • Present findings, ideas, and recommendations to management throughout the internship

Who Should Apply

This internship is ideal for graduates who are:

  • Studying or recently graduated in Digital Marketing, Business Management, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related disciplines
  • Interested in gaining broad, hands-on experience within a small, family-run manufacturing business
  • Confident working independently and comfortable taking ownership of projects
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to use initiative rather than relying on constant supervision
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment where responsibilities may vary day-to-day
  • Interested in website optimisation, SEO, CRM systems, customer insights, and digital process improvement
  • Competent in using tools such as Microsoft Excel, CRM platforms, website management systems, and digital collaboration tools
  • Strong problem-solvers with good communication and organisational skills
  • Keen to contribute ideas, challenge existing processes positively, and “hit the ground running” from day one
