About Us
Romerworld Ltd is a UK-based manufacturing SME specialising in bespoke campervan conversions, off-grid living solutions, and custom stainless-steel fabrication, including made-to-measure shower trays and interior components.
We combine design, CNC machining, fabrication, and direct-to-customer retail. Around 70% of our stainless shower trays are custom-sized, and we are currently investing in digital tools and modular product development to improve efficiency, scalability, and online sales capability.

Internship Overview
We are offering a 12-week Digital Internship to help us strengthen our digital capabilities and support our journey toward smarter manufacturing practices. You will contribute to structured digital projects that improve order tracking, ecommerce capability, inventory control, and digital asset management.
Duration: 12 weeks 18th May – 7th August 2026
Location: On-site – Sheffield
Unit 3 New Street, Holbrook, Sheffield, S20 3GH
Commitment: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Rate of Pay – £12.71 per hour
This internship will provide practical experience in applying digital tools and techniques within a live manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Gain

Project Responsibilities
As an intern, you will:
- Design and implement a digital tracking system (Excel or similar platform) to manage custom stainless fabrication orders from enquiry to completion.
- Develop a simple workshop inventory tracker for components, tooling, and consumables, including reorder visibility.
- Research and evaluate off-the-shelf ecommerce platforms and plugins that enable customers to generate digital proofs for custom shower trays.
- Produce structured comparisons and recommendations for implementation.
- Support development of systems for listing, selling, and shipping new modular kit products online.
- Create a structured digital asset bank for photography, video content, and marketing materials with clear naming conventions and tagging.
- Document workflows to support long-term usability and team adoption.
Who Should Apply
This internship is ideal for graduates who are:
- Interested in the intersection of digital technology and manufacturing.
- Studying or recently graduated in Digital Business, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Product Design, Ecommerce, or Marketing Technology.
- Confident using Excel or similar data management tools.
- Interested in ecommerce systems and digital workflow optimization.
- Organised, analytical, and comfortable working in a hands-on workshop environment.
- Proactive problem-solvers with strong digital skills.
- Keen to gain real-world SME experience.
- Experience with low-code tools, ecommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify or similar), inventory systems, or digital content management would be advantageous but not essential.
