Internship Overview 

We are offering a 12-week Digital Internship to help us strengthen our digital capabilities and support our journey toward smarter manufacturing practices. You will contribute to a focused project that drives value for our digital transformation. 

 
Duration: 25th May 2026 – 17th August 2026 
Location: Leeds LS12 2EL 
Commitment: Part-time, 20 Hours per week 

Rate of Pay – £12.71  

 
This internship will provide practical experience in applying digital tools and techniques within the manufacturing sector. 

What You’ll Gain

Project Responsibilities 

As the Digital Intern, you will work on a structured project which may include: 

  • Reviewing existing manual or spreadsheet‑based processes and identifying digitisation opportunities 
  • Supporting the build and improvement of SharePoint Lists and document libraries for:  
  • Quote and order tracking 
  • Customer service issues 
  • Production and operational reporting 
  • Helping improve data consistency, visibility and reporting using Excel and SharePoint views 
  • Documenting processes and creating simple user guides or SOPs to support adoption 
  • Working with key stakeholders across sales, production and customer service to gather requirements 

The exact scope will be agreed at the start of the internship and tailored to your skills and interests, while meeting business needs

Digital & Technology Solutions 

Business & Management 

Data Analytics / Data Science 

IT / Computer Science 

Engineering with a digital or systems focus 

  • Have a strong interest in how digital tools can improve real‑world business processes 
  • Are comfortable working with data, spreadsheets and cloud‑based tools 
  • Are organised, methodical and keen to understand how things work 
  • Are confident communicating with different teams in a professional environment 
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint or Power Platform tools would be beneficial, but is not essential
