Internship Overview 

We are offering a 12-week Digital Internship to help us strengthen our digital capabilities and support our journey toward smarter manufacturing practices. You will contribute to a focused project that drives value for our digital transformation. 

 
Duration: 12-weeks 08.06.26 – 31.08.26 
Location: Hybrid (on site working located at Unit A, Saxon Way, Priory Park West, Hull, HU13 9PB 
Commitment: Full time 40 hours per week 

Rate of Pay: £12.71 - £16.00 per hour 

This internship will provide practical experience in applying digital tools and techniques within the manufacturing sector.

Project Responsibilities 

As an intern, you will:  

  • Review businesses welding cell (Kuka cell4arc). 
  • Review businesses’ current offline programming solution. 
  • Look at current market offering of alternative offline programming solutions, liaise with software companies reviewing offers against requirements to find best alternative option. 
  • Help the business decide on the correct option of offline program. 
  • Integrate new offerings within the business & welding cell. 
  • Hand-over solution to the business ready for production to begin.
     

Who Should Apply 

This internship is ideal for graduates who have: 

  • A sound knowledge of KUKA robotics systems & KRL. 
  • Have experience of multi robot systems. 
  • Have an understanding of SolidWorks or similar 3D drawing software. 
  • Interested in the intersection of digital technology, manufacturing and supply chain. 
  • Recently graduated or have a strong knowledge in CAD Software, Engineering, IT, Data Science, Software development or a related field. 
  • Proactive problem-solvers with strong digital skills 
  • Keen to gain real-world SME experience
