Internship Overview
We are offering a 12-week Digital Internship to help us strengthen our digital capabilities and support our journey toward smarter manufacturing practices. You will contribute to a focused project that drives value for our digital transformation.

Duration: 12 weeks – 10/06/2026 – 10/08/2026
Location: ACS Stainless Steel Fixings, Innovation Way, Leeds LS9 0DR
Commitment: Full-time, 8am-5pm (40 hours per week, hour for lunch)
Rate of Pay – National Living Wage (£12.71)

This internship will provide practical experience in applying digital tools and techniques within the manufacturing sector.
Project Responsibilities
The role will primarily be focussed on maintaining and developing our proprietary Revit plugin, though you will be expected to aid other Revit users on issues that arise. 
The role will sit within ACS’s technical and IT teams. It builds on work which has been in development for several years, and you will be supported by our Design and Innovation Director and other team members throughout the internship.

Who Should Apply
This internship is ideal for individuals who are/have:
•    Interested in the intersection of digital technology and manufacturing
•    Studying or recently graduated in a relevant field.
•    Good knowledge of general Revit.
•    Good knowledge of Revit family creation, including constraints & parameters.
•    Able to construct models to customer drawings for testing purposes. 
•    Good construction industry knowledge. 
•    Good problem-solving ability.
•    Ability to write up workflows/scopes for new pieces of work- we use Miro primarily for flowcharts.
•    Located in Leeds/commutable distance to ACS.
•    Keen to gain real-world SME experience.
•    Knowledge of brickwork construction is a plus, as are existing internships or freelance work. Inventor exposure and an interest in the manufacture of products within the building envelope is also beneficial, and relevant training can be provided.
