Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and creative Website Design & Social Media Management Intern to join our team for a minimum of three months at our Slough office. This is an on-site role offering hands-on experience in digital communications, website optimisation, and social media strategy within a sustainability-focused organisation.
Based on performance and business needs, there may be an opportunity to extend the engagement beyond the initial internship period.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, update, and optimise website content to enhance user experience and brand alignment
• Implement and manage social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement
• Create compelling, high-quality content across digital platforms
• Manage and grow Organicco’s social media channels
• Monitor, analyse, and report on performance metrics and engagement analytics
• Support the development and execution of content strategies aligned with company objectives
• Ensure all digital communications reflect Organicco’s mission, values, and sustainability focus
Candidate Requirements
• Master’s degree (completed) preferred
• Minimum one year of industry experience
• Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimisation (SMO)
• Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to craft engaging content
• Experience in developing and executing content strategies
• Basic understanding of website design tools and platforms
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment in Slough
• Adaptable, organised, and able to manage dynamic tasks
• Strong interest in sustainability, environmental innovation, and circular economy solutions
