Position Overview 

The Business: 

The Sustainable Sequin Company is redefining sparkle — creating beautiful, recycled and biodegradable sequins and embellishments for the luxury fashion industry. TSSC is a micro business, working with designers who care about craftsmanship, aesthetics, and sustainability in equal measure. 
We’re looking for a digitally skilled, creative intern to help transform our online presence. You’ll work directly with the founder to create a new Shopify website and elevate and improve our digital sales experience. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain valuable real-world experience in sustainable fashion and digital brand building.  

What you’ll be doing: 

  1. Website & E-commerce Development 

    • Build a new Shopify website and migrate content and shop listings from the current site. 

    • Create a seamless, visually engaging shopping experience that reflects TSSC’s luxury, sustainable brand identity. 

    • Set up a digital inventory system to support stock management and sales tracking. 

    • Create a simple lead-capture funnel at the top of the website to collect basic data (how visitors found TSSC, their interests, email etc.). 

  1. Digital Shop Optimisation 

    • Improve and refresh TSSC’s existing Etsy shop to increase visibility and sales. 

    • Research and implement a Google Shop presence. 

    • Upload and format new product lines across all online sales channels. 

  1. Brand & Customer Experience 

    • Work closely with the founder to ensure brand consistency across platforms. 

    • Suggest ideas to enhance the user journey and boost digital engagement.

About you: 

  • Currently studying (or recently graduated in) web design, e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related creative/technical field. 

  • Interested in sustainability, fashion innovation, and digital storytelling. 

  • Happy to work in a tiny team with the confidence to manage this project. 

  • Bonus skills (not essential): experience with Shopify, and/or digital marketing tools (e.g. SEO, Google Analytics).
