The Business: 

A specialist in high-quality scanning and fine art printing with a small but dynamic workforce. We are looking for a motivated University Intern to join us for several months, supporting our transformation to a manufacturing resource programme, digital customer engagement and company processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a rapidly growing and develop practical skills in AI and system integrations. 

What you’ll be doing: 

1. API Integration & Automation:

    1. Automate email workflows and dispatch notifications to reduce manual tasks and improve responsiveness.
    2. Connect systems like Intercom and FileMaker via APIs to ensure seamless data flow (e.g., email to database). 

2. System & Tool Optimization: 

  1. Leverage FileMaker (Claris) for database management and automation. 

  1. Use Intercom for CRM and communication workflows. 

 3. Customer Portal Redesign: 

  1. Improve integration between the ordering portal and the database to ensure real-time updates and better data accuracy. 

  1. Enhance user experience and interface design to support easier navigation and order tracking.

About you: 

  • Currently studying disciplines in Computing, Artificial Intelligence or project management, Advanced Manufacturing Systems & Technology, Internet of Things Engineering
  • Interest in modern methods of systems management and AI integration.
  • Bonus skills (not essential):
    • Knowledge of Photoshop
    • AI and website engagement systems
    • Knowledge of printworks 

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with our permanent team and gain valuable industry experience.
