The Business:

We are a growing manufacturer, designer and installer of bus shelters with a small but dynamic workforce. We are looking for a motivated University Intern to join us for several months, supporting our transformation to a manufacturing resource programme, digital customer engagement and company processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a rapidly growing and develop practical skills in project management and system integrations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting the management with:
    • System mapping and preparation for system integration
    • Working with the implementation consultants to plan & deliver the implementation and full integration of current systems to the new platform
    • Helping to improve and update the current process and ways of working
  • Investigating and implementing new chat board customer engagement system, that will provide details of the products and company when asked.
  • Working with the team to improve current processes and procedures in line with the introduction of the new software
  • Assist the management by training and working with the team to ensure a smooth transition from old to new.

About you:

  • Currently studying disciplines in engineering, systems or project management,
  • Interest in modern methods of manufacturing processes and sustainable building systems
  • Bonus skills (not essential):
    • Excel
    • AI and website engagement systems
    • Knowledge of metalwork assembly

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with our permanent team and gain valuable industry experience.
