Are you an engineering or electronics student ready to get hands-on with prototyping, cameras, and hardware that actually gets used in the field?
A Merseyside-based manufacturer is looking for an intern to help develop the next generation of alignment and visualisation tools for their industrial pipe-cleaning systems – tech that’s faster and more precise than anything else on the market.
What you’ll be working on:
- Design and prototype an upgraded zoom lens system for a live use camera platform
- Build and test working electronics and mechanical components
- Research and evaluate screen or goggle-based displays to improve operator visibility during service
- Get involved in testing, feedback loops, and real-world usability improvements
What you’ll need:
- Solid hands-on experience with electronics, circuits, and prototyping
- Understanding of optics, camera systems, or basic image processing
- Confidence using CAD or 3D printing tools for hardware development
- Comfortable working independently on practical engineering tasks

Skills Required:
- Strong hands-on experience in electronics development, circuit building, and prototyping.
