About The Business: SealStop Ltd, based near Pocklington in East Yorkshire, is a family run British manufacturing business creating simple water saving solutions. Our flagship product, SealStop, automatically stops the flow of water when a container is full. Designed and assembled on our family farm, it is used by customers across equestrian, gardening, agriculture, leisure and outdoor living. We are now looking to strengthen how we explain and sell the product online as we grow in the UK and internationally.
Overview: We are offering a 12 week Digital Internship focused on consistent and measurable sales through the use of social media. Evaluating the data behind the platform, identifying what content and audiences perform best, and turning those insights into a clear conversion strategy.
Desirable Skills: Interested in how social media supports awareness, customer education and sales for a physical product and comfortable working with data, spotting patterns and turning findings into practical actions.
Job Description:
We are offering a 12 week Digital Internship focused on consistent and measurable sales through the use of social media.
Evaluating the data behind the platform, identifying what content and audiences perform best, and turning those insights into a clear conversion strategy.
Duration: 12 weeks
Location: Hybrid, with regular time at our workshop near Pocklington, East Yorkshire
Commitment: Hours per week to be confirmed
Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour
This internship will provide hands-on experience of social media strategy, performance analysis, email marketing, customer data and ecommerce within a growing British manufacturing business.

Project Responsibilities
As an Intern you will:
- Review existing social media performance through TikTok and the customer journey to establish a clear baseline.
- Analyse views, watch time, engagement, audience behaviour, website visits and sales to identify what drives results.
- Research successful TikTok strategies for product-led businesses and identify approaches suited to SealStop’s audiences.
- Develop a practical strategy covering audiences, content themes, posting, testing, TikTok Shop and conversion.
- Provide data-led briefs and recommendations to existing video support, without responsibility for editing. • Create a testing plan for hooks, messaging, calls to action, formats and posting times.
- Improve tracking across TikTok, the website and ecommerce platforms to measure enquiries and sales.
- Segment customer and email data to identify audiences, buying patterns and repeat-sales opportunities.
- Plan and design email campaigns, including layouts, messaging, customer journeys and automated sequences.
- Connect TikTok, email, website and ecommerce activity into one joined-up digital strategy.
- Create a simple dashboard and reporting process for continued use after the internship.
- Present a final strategy outlining key learnings, future testing and how SealStop can develop TikTok into a reliable sales channel.
This internship is ideal for graduates who are:
- Studying or recently graduated in digital marketing, marketing analytics, ecommerce, data analytics, business, communications or a related subject
- Interested in how social media supports awareness, customer education and sales for a physical product
- Comfortable working with data, spotting patterns and turning findings into practical actions
- Able to present analysis clearly to people who are not data specialists
- Confident designing clear and engaging email campaigns using tools such as Klayvio
- Familiar with TikTok analytics, TikTok Shop, Google Analytics, ecommerce systems or email platforms, although support will be provided
- A strategic thinker who enjoys testing ideas and measuring what actually works
- Proactive, organised and able to work independently in a small business
- Interested in sustainability, British manufacturing or growing a physical product business
