Overview: This role offers the opportunity to support a business-wide digital transformation project, working directly with the Managing Director. You will analyse and map customer, supplier, production and project management processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend technology-driven improvements. Responsibilities include evaluating CRM, project management and document management systems, exploring automation and AI opportunities, creating process maps and SOPs, and developing recommendations for improved information management and systems integration. You will also contribute to a digital transformation roadmap and support strategic business improvement initiatives.

Desirable Skills: Excellent research, communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of CRM platforms, workflow automation tools, project management software or AI applications.

Job Description:

The intern will:

  • Analyse existing business workflows and identify inefficiencies.
  • Map customer, supplier, production and project management processes.
  • Research and evaluate CRM, project management and document management systems.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow automation and AI-assisted improvements.
  • Create digital process maps and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Develop recommendations for improved information management and business systems integration.
  • Investigate automated customer communication and project status update solutions.
  • Produce a digital transformation roadmap and final project recommendations.
  • Work directly with the Managing Director to support strategic digital transformation activities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to analyse processes and present recommendations clearly.
  • Interest in digital transformation, business improvement and technology adoption.
