Overview: You will support development of modern engineering capabilities at GEMS, working with experienced engineers on real applications. You will develop MATLAB/Simulink models for vehicle control systems, support model-based design for ECUs, and write scripts to automate simulation, testing and data analysis. You will assist with embedded C/C++ development, validation, debugging, and improving data management and traceability. You will use MATLAB, Simulink, embedded development environments and internal systems. The role delivers workflow efficiency, reusable models, improved data organisation, and hands-on experience in high-performance engineering, embedded systems, and digital transformation.

Job Description:
As a Digital Technology Intern, you will support the development of modern engineering capabilities within GEMS, working closely with experienced engineers on real-world applications.
Core Responsibilities
• Develop and refine MATLAB/Simulink models for vehicle control systems
• Support model-based design activities for ECUs and control algorithms
• Write scripts to automate simulation, testing, and data analysis processes
• Assist with embedded software development (C/C++) where applicable
• Support validation, testing, and debugging of control systems
• Contribute to improving data management and traceability through internal systems
• Participate in engineering reviews, technical discussions, and project updates
