Find ways to save time, reduce waste and work smarter
This Technology Transfer Workshop is designed to help manufacturers across Northamptonshire understand more about core business processes, and learn how CRM and ERP/MRP systems can help boost manufacturing business efficiency.
If you are looking for practical ideas and support that works for your business, this event will give you the tools and confidence to take action. You will hear directly from manufacturers who have already taken part in the programme, meet our digital technology specialists and explore what support is available to help you move forward. There will also be a limited number of tech providers on hand to discuss your needs and how they might be able to help.
In partnership with The South Midlands Growth Hub & The University of Northampton Fuelling Innovation Summer Campaign, this is a free event for Northamptonshire manufacturers.
Breakfast, Lunch refreshments and plenty of time to network will be included.
Programme
8:30 to 9:00: Arrival, breakfast and informal networking with other manufacturers, support partners and exhibitors.
9:00 - 10:30 Northamptonshire Manufacturing Forum - updates from MAKEUK, InnovateUK & Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce aswell as guest speaker Andy Paul, Founder of Fliweel.Tech. A leading SME in the region who can empower your business by integrating advanced AI and automation technologies to enhance efficiency & reduce costs. (note, you do not have to be a member of the forum to attend at this event)
10:30 - 10:50: Break, visit the Fuelling Innovation Coffee Van! And time to meet the exhibitors or speak to our team one to one.
10:50 - 11:30: Welcome from the Made Smarter East Midlands team, with an update from Programme Director Dr Chris Owen, including new funded support available through the Made Smarter Programme. You’ll also be introduced to the delivery team and be able to directly discuss how they can support you in the implementation of industrial digital technology.
11:30-11:50: Manufacturing business process mapping and understanding core processes
11:50 - 12:10: CRM Systems – Focused session aimed at any manufacturer considering implementing or updating their CRM system
12:10 - 1:00: Lunch break and time to meet the exhibitors or speak to our team one to one
1:00 to 1:30: ERP/MRP Systems – Focused session aimed at any manufacturer considering implementing or updating their ERP/MRP system
1:30 to 2:00: Made Smarter Journeys – Hear from a panel of East Midlands based SMEs who have benefitted from Made Smarter
2:00: Event close. Additional networking and exhibition time will remain until 2.30.
