Martyn Mangan is a Digital Transformation Specialist within the Made Smarter West Midlands programme, supporting manufacturers across Worcestershire to improve productivity and competitiveness through the adoption of advanced manufacturing and digital technologies.
His career spans from hands-on factory work to 16 years in the RAF, followed by leadership roles in manufacturing, including Finance Director of a furniture business. After its sale, he joined Advance West Midlands, where he developed a deep understanding of the region’s manufacturing ecosystem and supply chains.
Martyn combines financial expertise with extensive manufacturing knowledge and is passionate about strengthening the West Midlands’ industrial legacy and ensuring its continued success on a global stage.
